Charlie Chaplin was the first true superstar to emerge from the fledgling movie industry, with his status being sufficient to ensure he controlled every aspect of his films - he wrote the script, selected the cast and directed the action.
He did all these tasks rather well, as is evidenced by some of the classics to be found in this three DVD collection. Easy Street is perhaps his best known film, where his bumbling police officer manages to bring order, but equally worthy of attention are A Night In The Show and His New Job.
